Rough Cut Stone Textured Feature Wall
The wall behind the TV should be a feature to uplift the open-plan kitchen and living space in this apartment.
For this ask, we wanted to take advantage of the afternoon light pouring in from the left. Hence, we chose to utilise texture and by crafting a stone/rough concrete finish on the wall using hand moulded plaster. The grey goose base colour draws your gaze just enough without taking away from the overall minimal look of this space. Keeping the direction of both daylight and night lighting in mind, additional contouring and painting techniques were used to emphasise the patterns created.
The daylight creates shadows towards the right of the grooves. A clean, horizontal RGB hidden strip is added to the ceiling, allowing light to fall onto the wall creating shadows towards the bottom of the crevices.
One of our most simple yet sophisticated transformation ever!
“We Dream Homes really spiced up my living room with their creative flair. Their plastering and painting techniques produced a fantastic faux stone accent wall, and combined with a concealed ambient lighting strip, it really makes the room pop!”
Safari Themed Nursery
We designed this room keeping in mind the size of the room, the cot positioning and the two available blank walls to work our magic.
All of the wall decals and stickers were curated from different sources and put together to meet an inspiration picture shared by the client. Our favourite part of the wall was the hand painted and custom textured tree, fit with an interactive height chart . The way the painted tree turns into a real branch was our personal touch. It adds just the right amount of immersive experience for the adorable toddler who loves animals.
On the cot-side wall, we added some personalised art that we created with an extra long ledge and wireless ambient lighting.
Believe it or not, this was our first project and it will always have a special place in our memories.
“We love how our nursery had turned out...better than we imagined. Bhav and Tj were very easy to work with and they have great ideas and vision”
Multifunctional Gaming Lounge
Our aim was to create a multi functional space using zones. Along with serving as a game room, lounge, reading and TV room, the space should also comfortably house over 400 board games and books.
For these gaming enthusiasts, we drew out a very practical solution. By extending their current collection of IKEA furniture and re-arranging the existing layout of this room, our clients ended up with a spacious and stylish gaming lounge. By using up the vertical spaces more efficiently, the storage units can also now cater to their growing collection!
Classic Bedroom Feature Wall
This lovely client wanted to spruce up their bedroom by adding a feature wall. The adjectives given to us were ‘Classic’, ‘Elegant’, ‘Timeless’ and ‘Understated’.
Block panelling crowned with a subtly embellished trim adds a tad bit more character to this room. We created this beautiful motif pattern using a block printing block from Rajasthan, India. This was our favourite addition of course. With some lush linen blackout curtains, brass gold hardware and overheard accent lights, this space was transformed in no time.
“We Dream Homes truly listen to your vision and bring it to life! They go above and beyond to personalise designs and make sure you're happy with the final look. We highly recommend TJ and Bhav”
Jungle & Spa Bathroom
Our most advanced transformation thus far. It was a joy creating this eclectic, rich and moody shower room.
We replaced the traditional white tiled walls with resin coated micro cement walls. The forest green stain mixed into the cement brings in the deep tones of nature. Most of the hardware was refreshed to brushed brass fixtures.
A single glass screen separates the wet area from the dry. Custom tall storage with frosted glass fronts was fitted around the boiler. To round off the theme, the wall opposite the shower was converted to a dramatic feature using panelling work and sophisticated wallpaper with deep complimentary tones.
There are a lot of intricate details that were added such as the gold touches, vintage frames, the organic gold framed mirror and the copper finished wall strip behind the black radiator.
It’s definitely a one of kind lux bathroom that is rarely found in the average household. It’s truly a statement in its own right.
Office & Gaming Room
Our repeat client asked us to optimise this room which was being used as an office and extended wardrobe to the primary bedroom.
We custom built shelving - each shelf, one single piece of wood spanning the width of the wall and placed in a staircase pattern to integrate with the roofline, which is pleasing on the eye.
Wireless RGB lighting was added to the entirety of the room, elevating this office and gaming space to the next level
Free standing units were added and arranged to maximise open floor area.
A custom cut worktop, stained to walnut finish was created and fitted on top of the dresser piece to provide a multifunctional corner space. The cubby space on the left contains a hidden clothes rail used as temporary storage.
